Jimena Navarrete Miss Mexico, Guadalajara, beat 88 other women from six continents in the 59th annual contest held in Las Vegas, broadcast live on NBC. Yendi Phillipps Miss Jamaica was second, Miss Australia Jenista Campbell was third, Miss Anna Poslavska Ukraine is fourth, and Venus Raj, Miss Philippines, the favorite must enter the contest ranked fifth.
